Today I wanted to reveal our Christmas bedroom and the details.  I love spreading Christmas cheer all around the house and into the bedrooms as well.  When it comes to holiday decorating in the bedrooms I prefer to keep it simple.  One of my favorite things about having white bedding is how easy it is to change up the look with the seasons.

I decided to say goodbye to our white sheets and gray quilt and hello bright red and snow flakes.  Last night was the first night we slept on these cotton flannel snowflake sheets and they felt so warm and soft that I could barely get out of bed!  I folded down our white duvet to show off the pattern in the sheets and added a Target red quilt and shams – I’m loving the pop of red!!!

TIP:  We order king size sheets, but have foam pillows that are standard size.  To avoid having pillow ends that are too long simply tuck them in.

Nutcrackers are beloved favorites in our home, I try to buy a unique one every year.  To add a little more Christmas cheer I added little wrapped up boxes and some ornaments.  I love decorating with ornaments, especially these large ones…they’re so fun!

I always like to add in a little humor when I decorate and what better way to add a little humor than with Christmas Vacation pillows?  Anyone else watch that movie over and over during the holidays?

TIP: To save space I keep the same square pillows and just switch out the pillow covers.  It’s really easy to just unzip pillow covers and fold them away.  I do this method with all our Christmas pillows and it really saves space.

I’m really loving the look.  It’s funny I’ve always bought my kids holiday sheets but not ourselves.  Why?  Grown ups need fun holiday sheets too!  I have shop the look details below.
