DO YOU HAVE A GRAB & GO BLACK JERSEY DRESS?

Do you have an easy grab and go black dress?  To me, there is nothing better than a black jersey dress, a basic one, that can be worn as is, layered, or dressed up.  Sometimes you can’t put the mental energy into what you want to wear, and you just want to walk in your closet and grab something dependable – and the black jersey dress comes into play.  It is so versatile and forgiving.  If you’re unfamiliar with the term jersey, it’s just a cotton fabric blend that has some stretch to it, so it’s forgiving and will fit you even when you accidentally eat 2,000 calories of Mexican food at lunch.

I’m on my second year of wearing this Karen Kane Jersey Dress, it washes up well and fits true to size.  I also love the scoop neckline, perfect if you want to show off a necklace.  It’s also great for those who use the capsule wardrobe because of all the ways you can wear it.  Honestly the sky’s the limit!  It’s A-line and very flattering to all, the 3/4 sleeves make it a great option for various seasons.  A sleeveless version is also available – perfect for summer, and plus size options too.

I’m wearing it here with my trusty Kut From The Kloth Denim Jacket – it’s a hard working denim jacket I tell ya.  Word of advice it does run small, order a full size up.  I’m normally a size small, I’m wearing a medium because the small said “Oh honey I don’t think so.”  I purchased a Kut From The Kloth White Jacket and it runs a full size small too. The pattern tights are super fun aren’t they?  I throw them on with everything!

You may have also recognized this dress from my ONE OF MY FAVORITE COLOR COMBINATIONS – BROWN WITH BLACK.  It’s truly a great dress I tell ya!  The Burberry watch I’m wearing I bought on sale and now it’s discounted even more at 50% off!  If you’ve ever wanted a Burberry watch now is the time.  Both the silver and gold are deeply discounted right now!
