The power of pink, what is it about this color that makes so many women crave it? Pink is associated with love and romance, but it also has calming effect. It’s also associated with happiness and joy, plus it’s feminine and beautiful. With so many ladies obsessed with pink on Instagram, including myself, I thought it was time for it to make it’s way over to the blog. Pink goes with practically everything, here are a few of my favorite ways I’ve worn it lately.
This pink midi skirt was a fantastic find, it’s so versatile and it has great movement. You can wear it with practically everything and it comes in other colors. Being unsure of the sizing, I ordered this skirt in both small and medium. Both fit, in the end I went with the medium because it camouflaged my shirt being tucked in and sat more comfortable on my waist. I was planning on returning the small but then my daughter Ashley snatched it up. She’s worn it to school twice already.
I couldn’t say no to the ruffles on this dress! It’s going to make a perfect spring and summer dress. The clutch I bought from Etsy and it was another great find! I love supporting sellers on Etsy, this fold over clutch comes in so many amazing colors, and with tax and shipping it was under $40. It also arrived quickly. I’m certain I’ll order another in either yellow or teal, it’s such a perfect clutch, I love how my hand slips under the bow making it easy to carry.
If you follow me on Instagram you know I’m all about these perfect shirts that are under $50. You’ve seen me wearing the pink one already and the black one is just as awesome! I designed these shoes from a design your own shoe event from Prada. If you ever have a chance to attend one do it! It took about 5 months to receive them but the wait was worth it. You can customize every little detail and its a blast! Prada shoes are some of the few designer shoe brands I can actually wear because they don’t hurt my feet.
I’m going through a big clutch phase right now. I’m able to quickly and easily pack all my purse essentials in a clutch – I’ve got it down to an art. I’m especially a fan of envelope style clutches because they hold more than it seems and they take up little space in my tiny closet. I love this pink and white gingham – so spring! This dress I’m loving, it’s easy to throw on and under $50.
