CAT DECOR I ACTUALLY OWN AND LOVE
This layered cat doormat instantly sets the tone for our house. The cheeky cat design makes me laugh every time I see it, and I love that the buffalo plaid mat underneath keeps the whole look feeling a little more pulled together. The plaid mat is machine washable too, which makes it practical as well as cute.
I’ve always loved Girl with a Pearl Earring, so I was so excited when I found a cat version of it. I admired it for a while before Brian surprised me with the canvas for my birthday, along with this gorgeous frame. It’s definitely one of those pieces that makes me smile every time I walk by, and it fits perfectly in our entryway.
This pillow was another birthday gift, so apparently word has gotten around about how much I love cats! It’s probably one of the most luxurious pillows I own. The stitching, leather, denim, and all the little embellishments are incredible. I keep it in our formal living room and keep the French doors closed most of the time to keep the cats out, but of course I occasionally let them in. They love sitting on the sofa with me during the winter and watching the snow fall outside. Every time I walk past this room, this pillow makes me smile. I love adding a little pattern and humor to our home.
I can’t forget my cat-themed table lamp. This was one of the first cat decor pieces I bought, and it was definitely love at first sight. The little bell on the collar is an actual bell, which makes it even more charming.
