Happy December to you!  I can’t believe how warm our fall has been.  Winter is 3 weeks away but the temps are still pretty mild.  I haven’t even thought about bringing out my winter coats yet so I’ve been basically living in cardigans.  Not just any cardigan, long cozy cardigans!  I’m drawn to these because they’re so easy to layer up and bring an outfit together, plus I feel sort of like I’m wearing a bathrobe – haha I have a thing for bathrobes.  I’ve been wearing these with jeans, dresses, and workout wear.  That’s a trick of mine when I’m running errands in workout wear – I’ll throw on a cute cardigan.  I can’t tell you how much I need these.  Yesterday I was wearing my nightgown when I took Ashley to school and I just threw on a cardigan and it actually looked like a real outfit…you can definitely say I’m not a morning person!

I really love Leith cardigans, they’re so comfortable!  Every year they come out with new great styles.   I find they can run just a tad roomy so I sized down, but if you prefer yours a little loser I’d stick with your original size.  I wore this tan Leith cardigan last week when I took a last minute day trip to San Antonio.  It was a perfect layer because it was one of those days that was hot in the sun and cold in the shade.  Those are the hardest days to dress for!

This black Halogen cardigan has also been especially useful with our bi-polar Texas fall weather.  It just barely has a sheerness as you can tell from the first photo.  I paired it with my trusty Vince booties in taupe, the grey would of looked awesome too.  If you didn’t read up on last week you can get more info in my Fall Bootie Favorites post.

J Brand Jeans (runs true to size)

Vince Camuto Split Shaft Booties (shown in taupe suede, run true to size)

Halogen Long Linen Cardigan (shown in black, runs true to size, I’m wearing a small)

Shine V-Neck Tank Top (one size fits all, it’s very stretchy)

Kendra Scott Pendant   (similar)

This grey  cardigan is definitely the warmest of them all.  It’s a wool & cashmere blend and oh so soft.  I don’t do itchy sweaters.  I paired it with a black knee-length jersey dress and a scarf a few days ago but forget to get a photo – shame on me!  It looks awesome with pretty much everything in my closet.  It’s also hiding a bit of post Thanksgiving fluff, LOL.  You don’t need to look too closely, I promise it’s there.

I decided to give my booties a day off and wore my trusty Chloe flats.  I have so much trouble finding flats to fit my weird shaped feet.  They look triangle, I have a small heel and the ball of my foot seems wide…I have duck feet!  These Chloe flats stretch a little and mold to your foot, they fit like a dream and last forever.  I think I’m going on my 4th year and they show no signs of wearing out.  It’s one of those perfect investment pieces, they’re a classic style, and when you consider all the years you can wear them it doesn’t seem as costly.

Jeans (similar pair)

Watch (similar one)

Bracelet (exact one, in gold)

Halogen Rib Knit Wool & Cashmere Cardigan (shown in grey, I sized down to XS)

Sol Angeles Cuffed Graphic tee (I’m wearing a small)

Chloe flats (run small but they stretch a little, I wear a 9 and ordered a 9 1/2)

Purse (similar light pink one)

There are so many amazing cardigans and most are on sale right now.  This is just the best time of year to stock your wardrobe!
